FLIGHT INSTRUCTION

LEARN TO FLY

SINGLE ENGINE SEA

Our seaplane training program is for pilots pursuing a Private, Commercial, or ATP Single-Engine Sea rating. Training is conducted in a Citabria on straight floats, providing authentic experience in true water operations. The lakes and rivers in North Idaho offer an excellent training environment that is both beautiful and challenging.

Most pilots complete the rating in 3–5 days, requiring 5–10 hours of flight time depending on prior experience.

The program includes 6 hours of flight time and is typically completed in 3–5 days.

Prerequisite: A valid Multi-Engine Land (MEL) rating is required prior to beginning training.
